The events between Ritsuka, Soubi, and Seimei have never occurred in this world. Instead, the school that was built was made for underground organizations among the real world, to grow the children of the heirs of their businesses.
Spells were something that they discovered and have learned to control. Using pairs, the student council was made, mostly of sacrifices. Branches of the companies, their heirs, as if almost naturally, become their fighters. They are looked upon to be the strongest. Especially those of their president. There are few who would dare try to directly face them. If their fighters aren't "strong" enough for them, they are tempered like swords, sent to train endlessly, often on their own. They are a force to be recognized with.
The school used to be closed off to the public, as to not tamper with the workings of the school. But, recently, they've opened it to the public, to bring in more fresh meat and possible recruits for the student council.
